Accommodation: Dining & sleeping on Kilimanjaro

On all routes except Marangu, we use official campsites, using only the best MSR Mutha Hubba tents.

These spacious tents, designed for 3 people, but of course only 2 people share ensuring that there’s plenty of room for everyone and your gear too.

MSR continues to redefine the amount of livability and quality you can expect when it comes to mountain shelters such as the Mutha Hubba. Utilizing the latest technologies and materials, they have defied convention by adding innovative features and livable space, while simultaneously reducing weight so making them easier for our porters to carry. The all-in-one hub-and-swivel pole design is strong and makes the tents very quick and simple for our team to erect, particularly after a long day on the trail.

Dining Tents on Kilimanjaro

On all routes except Marangu, we use official campsites, using only the best MSR Boardroom mess tents for you to enjoy your meals in the warmth and comfort of our spacious mountain dining room. It is also a great place to hang out after a day on the trail.

With a headroom of 6′ 10″ (2.1m), even the tallest climbers will feel at home in our mess tents for Kilimanjaro. The proven hoop geometry, oversized poles, and tough, waterproof fabrics provide the strength to stand up to even the harshest conditions
